The top 10 Scholarships for Indian students are open now to apply for only Indian students.
Scholarships for Indian students –
Scholarships for Indian students are given mostly by private entities in the name of trusts than central governments and state governments. Most Indian students do not have access to scholarship opportunities like students in other developed nations. There are very few scholarships for underprivileged students offered by the Indian government and the entire process of identifying an underprivileged student is very time-consuming and difficult for them.
Why Scholarships are given
Scholarships are given to students to encourage education and upliftment. Mainly scholarships are awarded to underprivileged students for their studies. In India mainly scholarships are given on a caste basis considering reservations. Indeed Scholarships play a pivotal role for an underprivileged student, where he can leverage his potential crossing financial problems barrier. A better India is only possible when every student gets a quality education irrespective of his caste and financial background.
