Nathan Blecharczyk is an American Billionaire born in 1983. he is currently working as a Chief Strategy Officer of Airbnb. Nathan Blecharczyk attended Boston Latin Academy where he started making money from his own software business. He used to provide web hosting services to spammers and in one instance he was named ROKSO which is known as the Registry of Known Spam Operators. He pursued a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Harvard University.
The career of Nathan Blecharczyk
After completing his bachelor’s degree, Blecharczyk started working in OPNET technologies in 2005. Then after he served as a lead developer in Batiq in 2007. After leaving Batiq, he partnered with Brian Chesky and Joe Gebbia to found Airbnb in 2008.
From founding a company to scaling it and making it as a brand, Blecharczyk along with his cofounders has struggled a lot in their life. Now Airbnb is worth $86 billion dollars as of today
He joined “The giving pledge” which is a selected group of billionaires for giving the majority of their stake to charity.
