How alternative assets could be better than traditional ones

With high uncertainty in the secondary markets and recession fears, alternative assets not only work as a hedge but also as an appreciating asset. Typically these asset classes could even appreciate in an inflationary environment. When inflation increases then the cost of raw materials will also skyrocket following the same path and even the construction cost of real estate will also climb. Meanwhile, Real-estate property value will also appreciate as it is interlinked to raw materials and labor costs. This makes the more lucrative amount of returns on investment. Nonetheless, these may even turn pessimistic as we have seen in China, how builders are overleveraged loans to build new ventures before finishing the existing ones.
